The Ribbon is the reason I decided to go back to 2008. One step forward two steps back I suppose.

Thr ribbon eats my spase on screen. Space for drafter the most important thing.I got CAD2009 3 month ago.

I dislike ribbon!If they want to use ribbon where is dashboard?No need to change gui but must be add rendering command(eg..lighting effect,light exclude/include/view align for landscape…many..many..)

I am not sure the 46% number is accurate, but I think that your 71% number is over inflated because, I think that the majority of the people who responded to your poll are people who don’t like the ribbon as opposed to a more across the board variety of users. I do use the ribbon in a minimize to tabs mode so it doesn’t take up that much space.

You have to opt into CIP.

I suspect the 46% figure is of people who use the Ribbon at some point. And it could be early days: people are trying out the ribbon, but haven’t decided whether to keep it turned on.

Or, they have it turned on, and — like me — don’t use it. (I have the ribobn turned on, because I write AutoCAD documention. But I don’t use it.)

I use MenuBar to turn on the menu bar.
